    Haunted Gallows, a premier haunted attraction known for its immersive horror experiences, partnered with VUP to enhance its digital presence, drive ticket sales, and increase overall engagement. With a short seasonal window for revenue generation, Haunted Gallows needed a strong digital marketing strategy to maximize reach and conversions.

    Social Media Management

    From spine-chilling sneak peeks to exclusive behind-the-scenes content, VUP took over the social media for Haunted Gallows during their 2024 season, implementing a structured content calendar and engaging campaigns that included:

    • Content Creation and Scheduling: High-quality graphics, teaser videos, and interactive posts to build anticipation.
    • Community Engagement: Active responses to comments, messages, and mentions to foster an engaged audience.
    • User-Generated Content (UGC): Encouraging visitors to share their experiences and leveraging these for organic reach.
    • Graphic Design: Crafting captivating posts, stories, and videos that gave followers an inside look at the terrifying features and eerie atmosphere of Haunted Gallows.

    By creating a strong, consistent presence across Instagram, Facebook, and X we ensured that Haunted Gallows was the talk of the season, drawing in both new and returning haunt-goers. 

    Digital Advertising

    In order to target the right audience, VUP executed a digital advertising strategy, including:

    • Geo-targeted Facebook & Instagram Ads: Targeting thrill-seekers within a defined radius of the attraction.
    • A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuous monitoring and refining of ad creatives and copy for maximum ROI.  

    Fundraiser:

    VUP had the privilege of organizing Haunted Gallows’ inaugural fundraiser during their 2024 season. This fundraiser was designed to sponsor organizations that attend the haunted experience. VUP created unique codes for each participating organization, allowing them to share these codes with their friends, families, and supporters. At the end of the season, 20% of the ticket sales generated through each code were donated back to the respective organizations. The campaign involved grassroots outreach to schools within a 25-mile radius of Haunted Gallows. With 19 organizations participating, we successfully generated over $9,500 in ticket sales for the fundraiser. Our team also created a user-friendly, informational webpage on their site, making it easy for organizations to sign up. 

    Email & MMS Marketing:

    Beyond the Fundraiser campaign, VUP implemented a comprehensive email and MMS marketing strategy focused on engagement and conversions:

    • Pre-Season Hype Campaigns: Countdown notices, early-bird ticket promotions, and exclusive sneak peek to build anticipation.
    • Segmentation & Personalization: Sending tailored messages based on user behavior (previous attendees, new subscribers, VIP guests).
    • Automated Drip Campaigns: Post-visit engagement messages to encourage reviews, referrals, and social media shares. Messaging included incentives for future visits, ensuring continued interaction beyond the event. 

    Photography:

    Through our collaboration with Haunted Gallows, VUP provided high-quality photography services that captured the horror of this haunted attraction. Our team worked closely with the Haunted Gallows team to showcase every chilling detail, from the hauntingly realistic sets to the thrilling scare actors.
